Personal data that we process
Vereniging de Trut processes your personal data because you provide this data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process:
- Email address, which you actively provide when subscribing to the weekly Trutpost mail.
- Name and email address, which you actively provide when filling out the information form to become a volunteer
- Personal data, which you actively provide when filling out the application form for a subsidy.
- Email address, if you email us with a question
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without that permission, please contact us via info@trutfonds.nl, and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data
Vereniging de Trut processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Sending our newsletter. - To be able to call or email you in response to sending the information form to become a volunteer.
- To assess a subsidy application and to be able to contact you about it.

How long we store personal data
Vereniging de Trut does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the goals for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:
Newsletter: as long as you use the service
Volunteer form: as long as the procedure is ongoing
Subsidy application form: as long as the procedure is ongoing
Email with general/miscellaneous question: as long as necessary to answer the question
Sharing personal data with third parties
Vereniging de Trut only provides data to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN), as a protection of your privacy. Vereniging de Trut will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks.
