De Trut is a queer disco in Amsterdam that has been organized 100% by volunteers for 38 years, the profits of which go to LGBTQI + projects worldwide.

TRUT FUND

We, the employees of the Trut, all work as volunteers and the fixed costs of the Trut are relatively low.

As a result, we make a nice profit, despite the low drink prices.

We then spend the entire net profit on subsidies for LGBTQI+ projects worldwide.

The subsidy committee meets once every two months to discuss the applications received.

On the overview you can see which projects we awarded a subsidy during the last meeting.

Trut Vibes tries to bring the atmosphere and magic of De Trut to life through a meeting and interview with a DJ, in which you can listen to an 'all-time favorite', a recent hit and a short set.

Especially for visitors who are sensitive to the light effect of a stroboscope (for example photosensitive epilepsy), we do not use stroboscope effects in the Trut every first Sunday of the month.
